Papu Electric Store supplies fans, wires, switchboards, bulbs and lighting to homes, shops and farms across Basirpur. Nineteen years on the high street, three generations of customers, and a counter that never runs out of catalogue.

Papu Electric Store opened its shutters in 2007 with a single shelf of bulbs and a hand-painted sign. Today the shop stocks over 340 SKUs across six aisles, supplying homes, shops, mosques and farms within a 25-kilometre radius.
The counter has stayed the same. The catalogue hasn't. What began as a bulb-and-wire counter now carries full lighting design for new builds, MCB distribution boards for shops, and three-phase wiring kits for tube-well installations.
Run by the family that founded it — now in its second generation behind the counter.
